Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The holiday season is coming up soon. That means companies like UPS are gearing up for the busiest time of the year. The package delivery service says it sees a double in volume from November through the end of the year. That’s why the company is now hiring one hundred thousand seasonal workers nationwide.
“It’s really important to us that we help our children in the community. We assist Santa in getting them their gifts, getting them what they want. So, its extremely important to us this Christmas season to make sure we’re staffed.”
Seasonal pay falls between 16 and 30 dollars an hour depending on the position. UPS says a seasonal job also has the chance to turn into a permanent career.
