LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – UW-La Crosse says it is looking for volunteers to help study the effects of long-term COVID. The university is searching for healthy people between the ages of 30 and 70. The study will analyze the health of red blood cells in people with persistent COVID symptoms compared to healthy people, to see if there is a relationship there. Participants need to have not contracted covid in the past 3 months and will be expected to take part in two sessions on UW-La Crosse’s campus. More information on how you can take part in the study can be found on the UW-L website.
