Vice President Mike Pence visits Janesville, pledging to stand with police

JANESVILLE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Vice president Mike Pence campaigned in Wisconsin today, appearing before an indoor audience of several hundred people inside a hotel ballroom in Janesville.

The Vice President reinforced the Trump Campaign’s law and order theme, pledging to stand with the police, whether they be in Los Angeles or nearby Kenosha, Wisconsin.

He did so while passing along hopes for a recovery for the two Los Angeles County Sheriff’s deputies shot at close range over the weekend.

Pence predicted a virus vaccine by year’s end.

Pence said, “Even though Joe Biden said, and I quote ‘no miracle is coming’ we are on track to have the first coronavirus vaccine before the end of this year. America is in the miracle business.

President Donald Trump and challenger Joe Biden focused their presidential battle on the wildfire-scorched west coast today.

Biden declared the fires and recent extreme weather underscoring an urgent need to address climate change.
