Victim in La Crosse’s Houska Park death investigation identified

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The La Crosse Police Department identified 33-year-old Cameron Baker as the victim of Monday’s Houska Park death.

Officers were called to the shelter area of the park just before midnight Monday evening. There, they found Baker who was injured from a fight. He was later pronounced dead.

34-year-old David Pearson Junior is being held in the La Crosse County Jail for suspected first-degree reckless homicide and bail jumping.
