Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Viterbo University is using federal grant money to reduce and prevent domestic violence, sexual assault, and stalking. The school has been awarded a nearly 300-thousand-dollar grant from the US Department of Justice office of violence against women.

The funding will help Viterbo implement and expand support and prevention initiatives, including sexual violence prevention education, and training focused on the relationship between technology and domestic violence. Viterbo was one of 36 colleges and universities nationwide to receive the award from the Department of Justice.
