ALTOONA Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – An Altoona non-profit is set to host an anti-human trafficking conference in Eau Claire next month. Fierce Freedom is dedicated to the education and prevention of human trafficking.
Its hosting its first west central Wisconsin anti-human trafficking conference which is open to anyone interested. Several experts are lined up to speak on a variety of topics related to spotting the signs of human trafficking and more
“Ranging from, you know, creating a culture of worth and value in your child’s life or if you’re an educator within your student’s life. And then we’re also going to be talking about the trauma that first responders experience from cases like sex trafficking, cases that end up really taking a toll”
The conference is set to take place at wild ridge golf course on October 13th from 9 am until 3 pm. A line up of speakers, discussion topics, and ticket information can be found on the Fierce Freedom website.
