The Resch Center in Green Bay will play host to the 45th Annual Girl’s State Basketball Tournament this weekend and WIAA officials are keeping a close eye on the  corona virus.

As of right now, and after several meetings with the state WIAA’s own medical staff and other community leaders, the tournament will go on as scheduled with no interruptions.

WIAA’s director of communications, Todd Clark says they are working on a PSA or message to put on the video boards as a reminder to fans to be courteous of others, practice proper hygiene and stay home if sick.

When it comes to the athletes, who often high five or shake hands before and after a game, Clark says they don’t foresee changing that right now.
