Wisconsin Farm Technology Days kick off today

Local News

EAU CLAIRE, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – One of the largest farm shows in the state is kicking off today in Eau Claire County.

Wisconsin Farm Technology Days is a three-day event showcasing more than 500 different vendors and attractions.

From activities for kids to the latest innovations in agriculture, organizers say there’s something for everyone.

Huntsinger Farms is hosting the event on over 270 acres of its land. President Eric Rygg is hoping for a great turnout.

Rygg said, “Last time Eau Claire County held farm technology days was 1992 and two of the three days got canceled because of rain. It was a mud bog. They didn’t have the right soil there. Last year, our next opportunity before the pandemic happened, and we had to cancel that, so I say 2021 third time’s a charm. We’re going to have the best show ever.”

Farm Tech Days is a volunteer-run event. If you’d like to help…it’s still looking for more volunteers.
Gates open today at 9 am.
