Wisconsin officials give update on COVID-19 (3-30-20)

Local News

The Wisconsin Department of Health Services logged the first confirmed positive case of covid-19 on Feb. 5.

One month later, the number remained at one, with the agency saying the risk of a person getting sick was “very low.”

However, in the past few weeks, those statistics have continued to rise.

On Monday afternoon, the state DHS reported more than 1,200 confirmed COVID-19 cases in Wisconsin with 14 deaths and slightly fewer than 16,000 negative test results.
