Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The Wisconsin Supreme Court today refused to hear President Trump’s lawsuit attempting to overturn his loss to Joe Biden, saying the case must first wind its way through lower courts.
Trump had wanted the Wisconsin Supreme Court to take the case directly, saying there wasn’t enough time to wage the legal battle by starting first with a lower court. Presidential electors cast their votes on December 14. The court ruled 4-3 against Trump.
Yesterday, the Trump Campaign filed another lawsuit against the Wisconsin Elections Commission, the Wisconsin Secretary of State, as well as the mayors and city clerks in five Wisconsin cities.
