BLACK RIVER FALLS Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Black River Falls school district staff member is on administrative leave following the release of a video on social media. The school district says they are aware of a video that shows racially insensitive and inappropriate comments being directed at native students. They say they are currently investigating the issue.

In an email sent to district families, the superintendent said the statements made in the video in no way represent the views or beliefs of the district. She says quote– “we are deeply sorry that this has happened, and we are committed to the success of all our students.”
