ELK MOUND, Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A vehicle going the wrong way on Highway 29 near Elk Mound Wednesday night resulted in crashes involving two other vehicles.
It happened about 8:30 Wednesday night in the town of Elk Mound.
The Dunn County Sheriff’s Department says a preliminary investigation shows a driver was going westbound in the eastbound lanes and hit two vehicles head-on. Three people had non-life-threatening injuries.
The eastbound lanes were shut down for about 90 minutes.
Alcohol and or drugs are believed to be contributing factors in the crash.
