We’re still just a few days removed from what was one of the more exciting packers victories in recent memory as green bay knocked out the number one seed Dallas cowboys 34-31 on a game-ending field goal by Mason Crosby.

Crosby sent the packer nation going crazy when he nailed the 51 yarder to send the cowboys packing.

Crosby has been clutch in the playoffs for the packers…kicking 26 or 28 attempts in his career…including 23 straight dating back to 2010.

Mike McCarthy had the utmost confidence that his kicker could get the job done when he stepped on the field Sunday night.

When you see, mason operate inside, it’s pretty flawless. He’s a machine, frankly, I don’t think anybody was concerned or a concern on the sideline at all.”

I can’t believe we got to a 51-yard attempt. I was hoping that we could even get across the 50 just try something long would be great. Just going back to that throw and catch was something spectacular. The rest was history and that was awesome.”

Offense came through and Aaron came through big. A lot of guys made a lot of big plays for us. That’s always fulfilling to see those types of plays being made for one another.

Now the packers have to get ready for the Atlanta falcons in the NFC championship…

This will be the second matchup of the season between the two teams, with Atlanta getting the win in week eight, 33-32…

But in that game, the packers offense played without the likes of starters, Randall Cobb, Jared Cook and Ty Montgomery because of injuries…

Montgomery says the falcons will have to be ready for a new-look offense this time around.

I can’t speak on how they’re gonna game plan and what that means for them and what they’re going to do. I think as a team we’re playing a little bit differently than we were then, we’re feeling every confident and we’ve got a good rhythm going. So just hoping to go down there keep clicking on both sides of the ball in all three phases of the game, especially offense and defense.”
