Officials release name in Chippewa County crash

The Chippewa County Sheriff’s Office has released the name of the woman who was killed in a crash which happened on Saturday.

Sheriff Kowalczyk says 32-year-old Hannah Kalman from Hatley, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The other person involved has been identified by officials as 66-year-old Timothy Miller from Ladysmith.

Deputies say Kalman died after her car was t-boned by Miller.

According to officials, Kalman was driving west on Highway O when she didn’t stop for a stop sign on Highway S.

According to deputies, Miller was driving north on S when his truck hit Kalman’s SUV.
