The Pablo Center was awarded nearly $30,000 worth of incentive checks for its energy efficiency initiatives.
Focus on Energy’s business incentives program awarded the center with nearly $21,000. Xcel Energy provided a bonus incentive check of an additional $4,000.
Features added into the Pablo Center include high-efficiency air conditioning units, and more than 700 LED lights & fixtures.
Focus on Energy says the amount of energy savings equals the energy it would take to power 4,700 residential homes.
According to Focus on Energy, the amount of energy also equates to saving the atmosphere about 37,000 tons of carbon dioxide given from coal being burned.
