A Neillsville man accused of abducting his young son and leading deputies on a high speed chase, has pleaded not guilty.
38-year old Jason Sonnheim appeared in Eau Claire county court this afternoon.
He’s facing several charges in Eau Claire County, including recklessly endangering safety.
Last month, investigators say Sonnheim broke into his estranged wife’s home in Neillsville, assaulted her, and took their son.
Deputies say he then led authorities on a high speed chase.
He was arrested south of Cadott, after a short struggle. The child was not hurt.
Sonnheim has also been charged in Clark County.
