Synagogue shooting victims released from hospitals

Officials say the three people wounded in a shooting at a san Diego-area synagogue yesterday have been released from hospitals.

The attack during a Passover service at Chabad of Poway killed one person – 60-year-old Lori Kaye.

Today, one of those injured described the shooting as a “horrific, terrible event” … And said that Kaye – quote – “had unconditional love for all.”

“in my own interpretation, Lori took the bullet for all of us. She died to protect all of us. She didn’t deserve to die. She’s such a kind, sweet hearted, just a good human being. She didn’t deserve to die right in front of my eyes.”

Police were searching the home of the 19-year-old alleged shooter who was arrested shortly after the attack.

He’s expected to be arraigned this week on charges including murder and attempted murder.
