The Search for Major Harris Continues

News

Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Dozens of volunteers are leading a grassroots effort to find a missing three-year-old boy from La Crosse County.

Major Harris hasn’t been seen since last week, and volunteers have taken it upon themselves to search for the boy.

They started their day back out at Havenwoods state forest. No sign of 3-year-old Major Harris, yet.

The boy’s mom was found dead Thursday morning in Milwaukee, and an amber alert was issued.

Following the search at Havenwoods, the group came to the area where the boy was last seen. His father, Carlton Harris Jr., says he will join search efforts.

“If ya’ll know anything about the whereabouts of my son. I don’t care if you drop him off at the bus station, or whatever. Just bring him home, is all I ask.” Said Harris.

Harris calls his son energetic and always smiling. The amber alert is still active.
