Three teens were taken into custody after a school shooting threat at Augusta High School.
According to the district and police department, a threat was found on an “electronic device” on Thursday.
The threat said there would be a shooting on Tuesday, September 25.
Staff and police conducted interviews and the three teens were removed from the school and referred to Eau Claire County Juvenile Intake for making terroristic threats.
The Augusta School District says there were no guns or bombs found on school grounds.
The district also said the Augusta Police Department will maintain an increased law enforcement presence on school grounds in the upcoming days.
