The woman widely credited with helping steer Donald Trump to victory will now be joining him in the west wing.  
 and with just 29 days left until president-elect Trump takes the oath of office, the transition team will be hard at work this holiday weekend.  
Fox News correspondent Joel Waldman has the latest from Washington.
 
Kellyanne Conway continuing to make history as Mr. Trump taps her to be his senior counselor.   
Conway – who became the first woman to win a U-S presidential campaign – says she is ready to serve the next president.

“I think when you have this opportunity it’s an honor … But it’s also very humbling.”
 
 Mr. Trump started his day with another presidential daily briefing – before holding more administrative meetings at his mar-a-lago estate in Florida.  Next week, he’s going to meet with Elsa Murano, a former president of Texas A&M university — who is being considered for agriculture secretary.  The president-elect also sitting down with Boeing’s CEO about building an affordable air force one, after Mr. Trump publicly chided the airline manufacturer on twitter for sky high prices.

“he wants to be seen as a guardian of taxpayer dollars and going after defense spending, there’s just a huge amount of waste there.”
 
Meanwhile, Ivanka Trump, her husband and three children — who were on a coach flight from New York to Florida — were verbally berated by a fellow passenger about her father … 
The passenger was quickly removed from the plane … JetBlue quickly issuing a statement, saying, quote: 
“if the crew determines that a customer is causing conflict on the aircraft, the customer will be asked to deplane, especially if the crew feels the situation runs the risk of escalation during flight. Our team worked to re-accommodate the party on the next available flight.”

“and Mr. Trump adding another administration hire, naming the RNC’s chief strategist, Sean Spicer, as white house press secretary.”
