Two people were arrested in Jackson County Wednesday after an investigation of alleged using and selling of marijuana.
According to a release from the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, authorities searched an apartment in the Village of Merrillan. There, they found 21-year-old Lawrence Corbesia Jr. of Merrillan and 19-year-old Alayna Gazdecki of Black River Falls.
Sheriff’s deputies seized roughly one and a half pounds of marijuana and other drug-related items, as well as close to $700 cash.
Corbesia and Fazdecki were being held in the Jackson County Jail.
