U.S. Pulls Out From Paris Agreement

Just hours ago President Trump making his decision on whether the United States will stay the course or jump ship when it comes to the 2015 Paris Climate Change Agreement. The historic accord aims to fight climate change and pollution by reducing carbon emissions. China and the United States being the biggest offenders.
Fox News Joel Waldman has the decision from Washington.
“As of today, the U.S. will cease all implementation of the non-binding Paris Accord.”
Saying the Paris Climate Change Agreement would be detrimental to the US economy, President Trump opting to pull out of the historic accord agreed to during the Obama Administration.
Trump says: “The Paris Accord would undermine our economy, hamstring our workers, weaken our sovereignty.”
A chorus of critics blasting the decision — including many corporate CEO’s and democrats — who have urged the president to stay committed to the 195-nation pact.
“For Trump now to go AWOL is a tragedy, it certainly not well thought out and I don’t think it will last very long.”
Abroad — China, Germany, and Russia — all failing to persuade the president that the agreement is right for the world. The Vatican calling it quote “a huge slap in the face”.
“The only voices that are saying pull out are a handful of coal companies and right now the head of the US Environmental Protection agency, which is an incredible irony.”
But some are praising the decision saying it keep Trump’s pledge – America first.
“There have been estimates by independent parties that say we could lose over 6 million jobs. It’s just not fair.”
