Bail is set at one hundred thousand dollars for a Wisconsin woman charged in the death of her boyfriend whose body was found in a box along a road in Kentucky. Forty-four year-old Rose Marie Kuehni of Prescott appeared in Pierce County court yesterday on charges of first-degree intentional homicide and hiding a corpse.

Her boyfriend, fifty-one-year-old Douglas Bailey, was reported missing on November 30th when he didn’t show up for a family Thanksgiving in Peoria, Illinois. Police in Kentucky say his body was found Tuesday in a large box.

The Peoria County Sheriff’s office says Bailey was killed in Prescott and his body transported to Kentucky. Kuehni is due back in court on Friday.
