Wisconsin governor Scott Walker climbs up the Iowa state fair soap-box to make his sales pitch for president.
The republican detailing his success as governor in Wisconsin at today’s event and taking some major swipes at his republican rivals and former secretary of state Hillary Clinton.
But his campaign speech wasn’t without controversy. Several members of the audience could be heard booing him, while others in the crowd gave him a thumbs down when talking about his career as a politician.
“There’s only one candidate in this race who has fought and won, and gotten results even results in a blue state like Wisconsin and did it without compromising our common sense conservative principles. If you want someone who can win and get results, and not compromise, I’m the candidate to send to the White House.”
Former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina and South Carolina senator – Lindsey Graham were also expected to make speeches at the state fair today
