Today’s mild conditions allowed to local men to do something many people might expect to see in the summer months.
Area water ski enthusiast’s bill and Ryan decided to take advantage of the warm December temperatures to barefoot ski on the Chippewa River.
The two men say this isn’t their first time skiing in cooler temperatures– they were out on the water this April as well.
They say they decided to get out on the water today because the weather isn’t making more traditional winter activities possible yet.
“It’s just been so warm. We wanted to get out there. We figured since we can’t go ice fishing, why don’t we go waterskiing. I love to waterski, I’ve been doing it for a long time, me and Ryan. We just thought it would be fun.”
