Have you found yourself feeling angry or frustrated with the current winter weather? If so, you’re not alone.
Local therapists said this weather can negatively impact your mood.
They say staying indoors, not getting enough sunlight, or exercise can all bring about feelings of frustration or depression. Also, a lot of snow can put a strain on your daily routine causing one to feel out of control.
“It seems like it’s out of your control which can really add that angry feeling or just frustration, which again, ‘I’m shoveling snow instead of spending time with my family or doing something fun’,” said behavioral care specialist, Corina Fischer.
Fischer said one way to remain positive is to remember that it’s just a season and it will come to an end.
