In the fight against the opioid epidemic, the tide is finally turning. That’s according to Wisconsin Attorney General, Josh Kaul.
Kaul says the epidemic is the most significant public safety issue facing Wisconsin and the country, and progress is being made. The most recent data shows a 29-percent decrease in the number of opioids dispensed in 2018, compared to 2015. To keep the momentum going against opioids, Kaul is advocating for medical marijuana to be legalized in Wisconsin as an alternative to opioids.
