VERNON CO. Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Kendall man is charged after a fatal crash in Vernon County last year. A criminal complaint shows 36-year-old Dustin Downing is facing multiple charges, including operating a motor vehicle while revoked causing the death of another.
According to the Vernon County Sheriff’s Office, authorities received a report of a two-vehicle crash with injuries on County Road V in the town of Forest on May 26. Several people were hurt, and one person was later pronounced dead. Downing admitted to authorities he was driving one of the vehicles. A court appearance is scheduled for June 6.
