DUNN COUNTY Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – The Dunn County Health Department reports its first case of Monkeypox in the county. The health department says the person is currently doing well and is isolating at home.
The virus cannot spread from casual contact, it most easily spreads through sustained close contact. There are 53 confirmed cases of the Monkeypox virus so far in Wisconsin.
If you are in contact with someone who is sick with Monkeypox, you are advised to contact your local health department, and to monitor your symptoms.
