FALL CREEK Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – A Fall Creek man serving nearly three decades behind bars is looking to withdraw his guilty plea to two counts of murder. Wayne Price appeared in Eau Claire County court Yesterday asking Judge Emily Long to consider letting him reverse his 2019 plea.

Price says he had ineffective counsel at the time, arguing his lawyers did not adequately advise him on his options when he pleaded guilty. Judge Long did grant a request for a hearing on the matter.

She did not schedule it yesterday, giving the lawyers in the case a chance to find a date that works for everyone. Price was convicted of the 2017 killings of his sister Elizabeth and her boyfriend David Dishneau.
