Wis. (WLAX/WEUX) – Southwest Airlines are trying to get back in the good graces of its customers. After canceling thousands of flights over the holidays, the airline is giving 25-thousand reward points to travelers who were affected by the major disruption.
The offer applies to travelers whose flights were canceled or delayed for more than three hours between December 24th and January second. The points have a value of more than 300 dollars.
Southwest canceled thousands of flights daily between December 22 and January first, blaming winter weather. The CEO says the rewards points are a quote “gesture of goodwill.”
