Bucks invite 'First Take' on city tour after show labels remaining teams' 'terrible cities'

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – Damien Woody asked First Take’s Stephen A. Smith if he really wanted to travel to Milwaukee. Smith responded with a “hell no.”

“I don’t believe I’ve ever rooted for the Atlanta Hawks and the Los Angeles Clippers more in my life,” said Smith.

Smith made it known he prefers to travel to Atlanta or Los Angeles as opposed to the Brew City.

This caused the Bucks to post an open letter directed to “First Take” from president Peter Feigin, who wrote in part:

“When’s the last time you were in Milwaukee? Must be a while. I would love to personally give you a tour. Our electric and exciting neighborhoods, one of the best dining scenes in the country, and our spectacular Lake Michigan waterfront, you’ll experience it all.”

During Tuesday’s show, First Take’s Max Kellerman tried to defend the comments, saying they didn’t mean it.
