Packers open 2023 season with Love in Chicago

Jordan Love will kick off his starting quarterback era in Green Bay against a familiar rival on the road, with the opportunity continue to Green Bay’s dominance over their border rivals at Soldier Field on September 10.

FOX 25/48 will televise the 3:25 p.m. featured game exclusively in Western Wisconsin.

Green Bay starts and ends its season with the Bears, as they host Chicago in the season finale on the weekend of January 6-7.  The Packers face North Division foes Detroit on Sept 28 at home and travel to the Motor City for a rematch on Thanksgiving Day.

The Minnesota Vikings travel to Lambeau Field for a 12 noon game on Oct 29 and host Green Bay at U.S. Bank Stadium at 7:20 pm on New Year’s Eve.

Green Bay travels to Atlanta in Week 2 and then hosts New Orleans and the Lions before its bye week in Week 6.

After the bye comes a trip to Denver, home games against the Vikings and Rams, and a trip to Pittsburgh before hosting the Chargers at home.

After Thanksgiving, the Packers have a December stretch run of Kansas City at Lambeau, the New York Giants on the road, Tampa Bay at home, and Carolina on the road before concluding the month and year in Minnesota.

A challenging schedule, though Green Bay doesn’t face a team that made the 2023 postseason play until hosting Vikings in Week 8.  With NFL roster turnover and the draft, last year’s records mean little.
