The teaching phase of the Packers’ offseason program is over with the completion of OTAs (organized team activities) on Tuesday in Green Bay.

The Packers players and coaching staff are now enjoying a vacation before the start of training camp on July 27, though it will be a working respite for head coach Matt LaFleur and his assistants.

The Packers also announced yesterday the details of a franchise tradition:  the Family Night Practice/Scrimmage on Friday, August 5.

The 21st annual family-friendly event will be held at Lambeau Field and tickets will go on sale starting at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 29th on ticketmaster.com.

Fans will be allowed to enter the stadium starting at 5:30 p.m. and warm-ups commence at 7 p.m.  The practice begins at 7:30 p.m., and the event concludes with prize giveaways and fireworks show.
